Generative engine optimization services, measured honestly
Your next customer may never see your website first. They’ll ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Google’s AI Overview which company to call, read a short answer, and pick a name from it. If yours isn’t there, you don’t get the chance to compete.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) are the work of earning a place in those answers. Plenty of agencies now sell it. Not many can show you, month by month, whether it’s working.
We can. We measure how often AI tools mention your business across a fixed set of real buyer questions, compare you with your competitors, and do the work that the published evidence says moves that number. And because we’ve built CRM systems for 13 years, every enquiry those answers send you lands in your CRM with its source attached.
Why businesses choose Linz for AI visibility
Most GEO agencies start with tools and keywords. We start with your business, because that's what we've done for more than 13 years as a Zoho Premium Partner, named Zoho's
CRM Solutions Partner of the Year at Zoholics India 2026.

We already understand how businesses work.
Over 1,500 Zoho implementations, we've mapped the sales, finance, HR and operations processes of companies in real estate, distribution, education, healthcare, logistics, automotive and many other industries. We know what your buyers ask before they buy, because we've built the systems that handle those conversations.
.webp)
We sit down with you first.
Before any research, we spend time with you and the people who talk to customers every day. Their real questions become the questions we track in AI tools and the pages we build.
.webp)
We find the searches that fit your market.
Keywords and AI questions are chosen for where you sell, whether that's Dubai, Chennai, London or across several countries, and for how strong the competition is in each, so effort goes where you can realistically win.
.webp)
We build a strategy to rank, not a list of tasks.
One plan covering your website, Google, Bing and the AI tools your buyers use, in a clear order, with the measurements that will show whether it's working.
.webp)
We create the content that gets you mentioned.
AI tools quote far more than websites. Ahrefs found YouTube mentions were the strongest single signal linked to AI visibility, and Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews lean heavily on video.
So around your target searches we produce the full set: website pages, social media creatives, explainer and customer videos, and podcast episodes that put your expertise where AI tools and buyers both look.
What is generative engine optimization?
Generative engine optimization is the work of making a business more likely to be mentioned, recommended and linked in answers written by AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode.
Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the slightly older name for the same goal: becoming the answer a search engine or assistant gives, rather than one of ten blue links. In practice the two overlap so much that we treat them as one service.
Neither replaces SEO. AI tools mostly build their answers from pages they find through search engines, so a site that search engines can't find or trust is invisible to AI as well. GEO builds on that foundation and adds the things AI answers depend on most.
SEO

What drives it
Your own pages plus what reviews, directories, press and communities say about you

How it's measured
Answer appearances
The last row matters most. AI answers change every time they're asked, so a single screenshot of your brand in ChatGPT proves very little. What counts is how often you appear across many runs of the same questions.
How ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google choose what to cite
Each AI tool finds its sources in a different way, which is why one generic tactic rarely works across all of them. Here's what the published research shows in 2026:

ChatGPT
Where it looks
Searches Bing's index, using OpenAl's own crawler. Seer
Interactive found 87% of its search citations matched Bing's top 10 results, against 56% for Google's

What that means for you
Being indexed and ranking well in Bing matters as much as Google

Claude
Where it looks
Uses Brave Search for web results. An OtterlyAl study of 379,000 citations found 64% went to companies' own websites

What that means for you
Clear, detailed pages on your own site carry real weight

Perplexity
Where it looks
Searches the web live for every question and leans on review sites, Reddit and YouTube

What that means for you
Reviews, community answers and video count

Google AI Overviews and AI Mode
Where it looks
Built on Google's own index, but an Ahrefs study of 863,000 searches found only 38% of cited pages rank in the top 10

What that means for you
Ranking helps, but answering the follow-up questions matters too

Two findings hold across every platform:
What others say about you counts most.
Across 75,000 brands, Ahrefs found mentions on other websites tracked AI visibility about three times more closely than backlinks did. An Omniscient Digital study of 23,387 citations found 57% of brand citations came from reviews and social proof and 17% from directories, with only around 4.5% from a brand's own homepage, About or FAQ pages.

The tools rarely agree.
One analysis found only about 11% of the domains ChatGPT cites are also cited by Perplexity. Being visible in one says little about the others, so we track each one separately.
These studies come from research firms and tool vendors, and they describe patterns rather than guarantees.
We use them to decide where effort is most likely to pay off, then measure whether it did.
What our GEO and AEO service includes

1. AI visibility audit.
We agree on the questions your buyers actually ask, such as "best Zoho partner in Dubai" or "accounting software for a small trading company in India", and run each one many times on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google. You get a baseline: how often you're mentioned, how you're described, which competitors appear instead, and which sources the AI tools lean on.

2. Open the doors.
Your site must be findable where each AI tool looks: indexed in Google and Bing, visible to Brave, and open to the AI crawlers you choose to allow. We check Bing Webmaster Tools, your robots.txt and your page structure, because a page that can't be fetched can't be quoted

3. Get your facts straight everywhere.
AI tools mix up businesses whose details don't match.
Your name, description, founders, addresses, services and contact details are made consistent across your website, Google Business Profile, Linkedin. Crunchbase and the directories that matter in your industry.

4. Make your pages worth quoting.
We rewrite or add pages so they answer real buyer questions directly and specifically: what you do, who it suits, what it costs, how long it takes, how you compare. First-hand detail that a competitor can't copy is what
AI tools quote; generic copy gets passed over.

5. Earn mentions elsewhere.
Since most brand citations come from other people's sites, this is where much of the work goes: reviews on Google and platforms like Clutch and G2, listings in the directories AI tools trust, articles and interviews in industry press, YouTube videos, and genuinely helpful answers in the communities your buyers read. We never use fake reviews or paid mentions, which can backfire badly.

6. Measure and adjust every month.
The same questions, run the same way, so the numbers are comparable. What moved, what didn't, and what we'll change next.
How we measure AI visibility
Ask ChatGPT the same question twice and you may get two different lists of companies.
SparkToro tested this across 2,961 runs and found fewer than 1 in 100 returned the same list of brands. So we don't report "you're #3 in ChatGPT". We report numbers that hold up:

Appearance rate:
the share of runs, per AI tool, in which your business is mentioned for each buyer question.

Share of voice:
how often you appear compared with each named competitor.

Accuracy:
whether AI tools describe your services, locations and prices correctly, and where wrong information is coming from.

Sources:
which websites the AI tools cite when they talk about your industry, so we know where mentions are worth earning.

Visits and enquiries:
traffic arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI tools in your analytics, AI-related data from Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and, through your CRM, the enquiries and deals that came from them.
We use Ahrefs Brand Radar alongside our own repeated question runs, and every report shows the same questions month after month so the trend is real.
What we will never promise
-
Guaranteed mentions or citations in any AI tool
-
A "#1 position" in ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant Secret prompts, hidden text or tricks aimed at Il tools
-
Special AI files or schema that magically make you appear. Controlled tests have found no measurable effect from Ilms.txt files or from adding schema alone, and Google's own guidance tells site owners not to bother with tactics written just for AI
-
Results in days. Earning mentions on other trusted sites takes months, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something you'll regret
From an AI answer to a deal in your CRM
Visibility is only worth paying for if it brings in business, and this is where being a Zoho Premium Partner for 13 years makes a practical difference.

When someone clicks through from ChatGPT, Perplexity or another AI tool, the visit is recognised and carried into your CRM with the enquiry. If they ask about you in an AI tool and then call or message you directly, your team records the source in a few clicks. Over a few months that builds a simple, honest report: which AI tools sent enquiries, which questions they came from, and how many became paying customers.

We set this up in Zoho CRM or Zoho Bigin as standard, and in other CRMs on request. It turns "we're visible in AI" into "AI answers brought us six enquiries and two deals this quarter", or tells you plainly that they didn't.

GEO and AEO for businesses in Dubai and the UAE
Buyers in the UAE ask AI tools in English and Arabic, and local questions such as "best accounting software partner in Dubai" lean heavily on Google Business Profiles, reviews and regional directories. Our Dubai team, based in AI Barsha. tracks the questions your UAE buyers ask in both languages, gets your Business Profile and local listings in order, and builds the reviews and regional mentions that local AI answers draw on.
GEO and AEO for businesses in India
Indian buyers increasingly start with AI tools too, often comparing several suppliers in a single question. From Chennai, we track how your business appears against Indian competitors, fix inconsistent listings across Indian directories, and build the reviews and industry mentions that make AI tools confident enough to recommend you.

Anywhere else
The method works in any market and language. For clients in the UK, Europe, the US and the wider Gulf we run the same audits and reports remotely, with question sets written for each country.
Who GEO and AEO are worth it for
It pays off most where buyers research before they contact anyone: B2B services and consultancies, software companies, real estate developers and brokers, training providers, clinics, and online stores competing on more than price.
It's not the right first step for every business. If your website is thin, slow or missing key pages, or you have almost no reviews anywhere, AI tools have very little to work with. In that case we'll tell you to start with your website or SEO first, and come back to GEO once there's something worth citing.

Examples of the questions we track
The questions are always written with you, but here's the kind of thing each industry's buyers ask AI tools:

Real estate developers.
"Which developers in Dubai offer flexible payment plans on off-plan apartments?"

Distribution and trading
"Which suppliers in the UAE stock industrial safety equipment and deliver next day?"

Education and training
"Where can I get a recognised
Zoho certification course in Chennai?"

Healthcare and clinics
"Which clinics in Dubai offer speech therapy for children?"

Software and IT services
"What's the best CRM implementation partner for a mid-sized company in India?"

Automotive
"Which garages in Dubai are good for European car servicing?"
For each question we track whether you're mentioned, how you're described, who appears instead and which websites the AI tool relied on.
From an AI answer to a deal in your CRM
Visibility is only worth paying for if it brings in business, and this is where being a Zoho Premium Partner for 13 years makes a practical difference.

The audit comes first, as a fixed-price project, and gives you a clear baseline and action plan within the first few weeks. Technical fixes and page improvements usually follow quickly. Earning mentions on other sites is the slower part and builds over months, which is why the ongoing service runs as a monthly retainer with a six-month minimum.

Prices depend on how many markets, languages and competitors we track, and how much content and outreach work is included. Existing Zoho clients of ours can combine GEO with their CRM support and website work at a reduced rate.
Questions about GEO and AEO services
Answer engine optimization: making your business the answer that search engines and AI assistants give to a question, rather than one result among many.
Partly, and anyone who says otherwise is overselling. Good SEO is the foundation, because AI tools find most of their sources through search engines. What’s genuinely different is the weight on what other sites say about you, the need to be visible in Bing and Brave as well as Google, and the way success is measured across many repeated AI answers.
They’re worth it when the agency can show you a baseline, explain what it will change, and report the same measurements every month. If an agency can’t tell you how often you appear in AI answers today, it can’t prove it improved anything.
No. AI answers are built largely from pages that search engines can find and trust, so SEO matters as much as ever. The difference is that ranking alone no longer guarantees you’ll be mentioned.
We clean your item list, load opening stock per warehouse, and match it against a physical count before go-live, so the numbers start correct.
Technical fixes and page improvements can show up within weeks on AI tools that search the web live. Earning mentions across reviews, directories and press takes months. We report every month so you can see the direction from the start.
No one can, because AI answers change each time they’re asked. What we can do is raise how often you appear, measure it honestly, and show you where it’s coming from.
Not for visibility. Large studies have found no measurable effect from llms.txt files, and Google advises against tactics made just for AI. Standard structured data is still useful for search engines, so we keep it in place.
That’s your decision, and there are fair reasons either way. Blocking the crawlers that AI search tools use means those tools can’t quote your pages, so for most businesses that want to be recommended, we suggest allowing them.
Ask how they measure visibility, whether they track each AI tool separately, what they’ll do off your website as well as on it, and what they won’t promise. Then ask to see a sample report.
Find out what AI tools say about your business today
Start with an AI visibility audit. You’ll see how often ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google mention you for the questions your buyers ask, which competitors appear instead, and a clear plan for what to fix first.
